The Prof W. R. Geddes Bequest provides funds for postgraduate research on the Bidayuh community of Sarawak. The research shall contribute to the furtherance of ethnological, ethnographic or archaeological research at UNIMAS in relation to the study of Bidayuh communities of Sarawak. The funding is for the purpose of research projects, graduate research assistance, attending conference and publishing paper. The tenure of a scholarship shall be for one year (Masters) and two years (PhD) in the first instance as the Advisory Committee shall determine. It is expected that the successful applicant(s) will be attached at the Institute of Borneo Studies (IBS), UNIMAS.
